New Content for GCSE, AS and A Level Dance

Yesterday morning the Department for Education published revised content for GCSEs in art and design, dance, music, computer science and physical education (PE) and A levels in dance, music and physical education.

• The new AS and A level content for dance, music and physical education
• Government response to the consultation on art and design, dance, music, computer science and physical education (PE)
• Assessment of the equalities impact of new subject content for art and design, dance, music, computer science and physical education (PE)

Ofqual has also confirmed its decisions on how these new GCSEs and A levels should be assessed, including the proportion of non-exam assessment and the assessment objectives for each subject. These can be found on Ofqual’s website: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/ofqual
