Youth Dance England is delighted to announce that Stopgap Troop and Penny & Jules Youth have been selected to represent the South East region at U.Dance 2015, Youth Dance England’s national youth dance festival, 22 to 25 July 2015, in Plymouth.
The groups performed at the South East U.Dance Regional Platform, Target Dance-Bodies in Motion, at the Congress Theatre in Eastbourne 9 and 10 January 2015. Organised by South East Dance and the University of Brighton, the event featured over thirty different pieces of work by young people and students of the University of Brighton, showcasing the breadth and diversity of dance in the South East.
U.Dance 2015 is Youth Dance England’s flagship event and will showcase some of the best work presented in U.Dance performances across the UK at locations in Plymouth, 22 to 25 July 2015. This year Youth Dance England is excited to partner with Plymouth Dance to bring England’s national youth dance festival to the sea for the first time with a special focus on inclusive dance.
