Youth Dance England’s Director, Linda Jasper, and Veronica Jobbins, Co-Chair of Programme Board: Children and Young People’s Dance, have worked with the Department for Education to ensure that schools have information on how to access high quality dance.
See the new dance sections on The Coaching in Primary Schools’ portal. Through the portal, schools can now get advice on where to find a dance artist/practitioner to work with pupils and/or teachers and also information on how to identify high quality dance teaching. This information will help schools deliver programmes funded through the PE & Sport Premium as well as being useful to any school or organisation that wants to develop dance in and beyond the curriculum.
